Luring non-vegetarians to agree vegetarian food taste as good & alike, one could consider the fried prawn balls, coated with breadcrumbs, well fried, without disclosing it as the non-vegetarian version, one can hardly tell the difference. The crispy fried vermicelli besides the balls as garnish played also a part in enhancing the flavour of the dish.

The lemon sauce on top reduces the oiliness taste of the fried mushrooms, also a dish easily accepted by all. If an additional saucer of lemon sauce made available to dip separately for those who love it, it would had added more points.
Hi,how much is the fried prawn ball?Thks
ReplyDeleteHi, I have another qn, is the fried sotong ball also look the same? same price? Thks.
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteBoth dish of Fried Prawn ball & Mushroom cost $7.
I presume Sotong shd be same price but do not know abt the appearance of their Sotong balls. I believe upon request, they could do it the same way. Anyway, the sotong balls are nice by themselves without the coatings.:-)
Sunny,
ReplyDeleteI am so amazed at these vegetarian mock meat products. I like the idea of fooling a non-veggie into thinking that they were eating meat.
Hi mangocheeks,
ReplyDeleteThe vegetarian mock products industry is getting more & more interesting in Asia.
It's amazing how "real" they could replicate. ;-)
