Onn Vegetarian
We tried their Vegetarian minced meat noodles ($3), it is the dark-sauced type rather than traditional Teochew vinegar type that i prefered but the noodles were Q. It came with beancurb alike pieces that tasted with fish cake texture, the marinated mushroom and the fried mock meat pieces which I suppose is their minced meat and their home-made green chilli made it a tryable dish.

Xiu Yuan Good Food Cafe
Visited Bugis area & S has craving for Dry noodles and in good mood to try vegetarian version as well. So I brought her to Fortune Centre & we found Vegetarian Mushroom Minced Meat Noodles and Zha Jiang Noodles on the new vendor, Xiu Yuan' s menu.
(I was told Xiu Yuan had just replaced Piao Xiang Vegetarian Food about a month plus while Piao Xiang had moved to level1, #01-01, near the entrance. As it maintained similar old setting & has similar menu as Piao Xiang, one could hardly notice the change of owners.)
It is located at 190 Middle Road, #03-03 (Fortune Centre), Singapore 188979
Opening Hours: Mon - Sun: 8.30am - 8.30pm, last order

Yuan Wei Quan Vegetarian (YWQ)
Bak Choy (minced meat) Mee Tai Mak or Mee Hoon is one of their later addition as special menu on Saturday. Nice portion of vinegar which is a must for nice Bak Choy noodles, with minced meat which tasted like otak with abit of spiciness (which I wonder if has egg ingredients inside as the stall does sell eggs as well ) , some mushroom slices and their ever crispy vegetarian fried "goose pieces". The food court is located at B1 of HDB Hub. You can either enter thru basement car park entrance or from entrance besides McDonald from Bus interchange. It is located at a corner nearer to basement car park entrance.

吾家有宝素食小站 VEGETORIUM
Visited the eatery place again, had wanted to try their fried prawn dumplings but it was not available. Ordered their Vegetarian Minced Meat Noodles this round, the well-done noodles came with quite a big portion of ingredients. They are currently having a promotion on hot drinks: tea, coffee, milo at only $0.50 in small traditional cups.
For those who missed the canned tomato sauce sardine, Strongly recommend their Sardine curry puff (different from Malay version of sardine puff) which the fillings and gravy is very replicate of the canned sardine, and you will ask the question: "Is this really vegetarian?" after a bite.

Mai Zhi Su (Bt Batok)
Instead of adding mushroom, its Bak Chor Mee or Minced Meat Mee has fishballs & fish-cakes instead. Surprisingly, the texture of both are very much replicate of actual fishball & fish-cake. Very different from the usual mock fishballs & fish-cakes sold in market that are rubbery in texture. The texture of the noodles is smooth, very much like the thicker mee hoon version. Nice:-)
Originally I also ordered their "Black-black Face" recommended by Veggie Bun but was told that they do not have it today & was introduced "White-white Face" instead. Well, I thought that maybe the soup or noodles is different but in comparison to Veggie Bun's picture on "Black-black face", they seem to be similar. The noodles is also white in color, same texture as the Bak Chor Mee. Hmm, maybe the soup is slighter lighter in color than "Black-black Face"? Anyway, the soup has a very strong herbal taste, with nice mushroom & well cooked mushroom stalks as mock meat. It also has mock pork-rib :P . Overall, it is quite nice especially for those who like strong herbal soup.
We were told that MZS (BB) will be open for business on Day 1 of Chinese New Year. A good choice for vegetarians if you are looking for vegetarian eateries that day.:-)
It is located near Bt Gombak Mrt, at Blk 376, Bukit Batok St 31, #01-126, S(650376). Tel: 65630973. On its namecard, it indicated operating hours as Mon-Sun & PH: 7am to 10pm (Wow, no rest days :P).- sad to inform that this branch had closed down
May visit their AMK outlet at Blk 128 Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 St 12#01-1853. Tel: 64563307.

欢心素 (Huan Xin Su) at Rocher Centre Coffee Shop
Looks good, isn't it? Remember to ask the chef to add more vinegar when you order the mee & when you pack back & open up, the nice smell of vinegar mixed with noodles. Even my sis, a non-vegetarian (who always say no to vegetarian:P) but noodles-lover admit that the standard is pretty good.
Of course, the stall does sell other dishes for eg. as per picture below: Fish Head steamboat & Tom Yam steamboat and other Stir-fry dishes like HoFun, Mee Goreng etcThe picture looks yummy, right? The chef told me the Fish head steamboat costs $5 which I think is pretty reasonable for mini-steamboat (Non-vegetarian could cost more?). I must make an effort to try other dishes next round I patron it again. Maybe you can try too & write me your comments :P
