Go Vegetarian

Attending an event near Choa Chu Kang MRT,  searched internet in vegetarian food at Choa Chu Kang and upon enquiry with Friend staying around the area, they all pointed to "Go Vegetarian" (Blk 303, Choa Chu Kang Ave 4) at Foodfare food court located at block right turn from the MRT.

As I was rushing for time, I took their most convenient economical rice though their Stir-fry dishes were more popular according to internet.T
The rice was dry but the vegetables were of reasonable taste and the otak was good though.
Queue started to form for their Stir-fry dishes when I left. Next time if I ever visit the area again...

Vegetarian Express

Attending a talk around Kovan area and searching internet on Vegetarian around Kovan,  Vegetarian Express at #02-04 , Heartland mall,  just above Kovan mrt pops up. Visited it with the  wish it is still operational as comments on its food wasn't favourable from a year ago.

Thank goodness it is still around,  easy to find from escalator up, turn right to information counter and you will see it on your left.

A small neat cafe. Most main dishes on menu are from $6 with western food from $7.50 and above. There are also finger food like yam cakes and French fries, etc at $3 and below. There are some indications of chef recommendations and this Sliced Fish Bee Hoon Soup ($6) ordered is one of them. With no expectation, it came as a reasonable pleasant light taste soup with springy thick mee hoon.  The fried fish slices are of materials  made from my favourite bean curd skin so that scored points too.: -))
Will likely return to try more on menu...

Lan Xiang Yuan Vegetarian (Koufu, Commonwealth MRT)

Ordered their Stir-fry Hor Fun and Fried Hokkien Noodles and standard seems to have gone back to Green Vegetarian Kitchen 's time.
Really wok -fry taste and flavourful. AND good Hugh portion for 3 to share 2 plates.
Actually I am confused on actual vendor of the stall as it has top signboard per food-court standard as "Green Vegetarian " while its neon wall signboard as  "Lan Xiang Yuan" . Must clarify given a chance at next visit...: -p

This stall is located near side entrance of Koufu Foodcourt beside Commonwealth MRT.

Ru Yi Vegetarian (Tiong Bahru Market)

This pioneer stall had finally increased its price to $3 only instead of choice of $2.50 & $3 and thankfully their portion increased as well to make it a reasonable plate. Now at least they standardise the ingredients to a good portion unlike past. I would say their quality of service had improved! Their white Mee-hoon and marinated green chilli are still as authentic nicer than other stalls which tried to serve similar, hence the reason for their always long queue.

Located at 2nd level food centre, Far left Corner from direction of escalator of Tiong Bahru Market (30 Seng Poh Road), about 2 bus-stop away from Tiong Bahru MRT. Bus: 5, 16, 33, 63, 121, 195, 851.
