Facing the road, from left corner of coffee shop, the Happy Life Vegetarian stall had moved to the right, near the drink stall. And instead of Indian Rojak, it's selling traditional Rojak & Fruit Rojak. M had been craving for Rojak so I was glad to discover it & with request to omit peanuts, the lady gave a good portion of white sesame seeds in lieu of it. It is a good portion at $3, the essential ingredient, the tau pok pieces were still crispy, the pineapple slices sweet & the sauce tasted good! Sweet & sour & yet light & fresh.
Generally I don't like white sesame seeds but the combination with the sauce is superb that M who has high standard for Rojak praised it too and we finished the pack in minutes.
Very appetising, will definitely return for more as it is hard to come across nice Vegetarian rojak nowadays.
It is located at corner coffee shop at Blk134 Geylang East Ave1, #01-229, 2nd bus stop from Aljunied Mrt. Opposite Tan Swie Hian Museum. Happy Life Vegetarian is located at the right corner, inside same coffee-shop which hosted Kwan Inn Vegetarian (KIV) for those who knew KIV better. It rests on Wednesday.
