Fo You Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant

Shifted to 30 Lavender Street S'pore 338815

Located along the stretch of shop houses just directly opposite City Square Residences, S recommended to try this vegetarian restaurant which she recently visited.

We tried their Longevity's Noodles - quite nice:-) Soft & Smooth.
Claypot Brinjal with Petai - the dish's sauce is usually saltish in other outlets but here they do it with a plum sauce, unique taste. The dish should be more sparingly cooked with Petai to justify the name of the dish.

Vietnamese Prawn roll - may not look as presentable but quite nice, it's actually mashed potato fried with centre edible sugarcane stick that you could chew on.

Lastly, we end the feast with their ice-cream dessert: Fruit Gelato : Peach Fantasy and Lemon Limet.
At the size of the clenched fist, most of the Fruit Gelato were beautifully moulded into their representing fruits, especially the peach alike gelato that we originally could not bring the heart to eat it.
The refreshing Lemon Limet (refreshing mild sourness after a heavy meal) is strongly recommended.:-)
