Nalan Restaurant

My new discovery, an Indian Vegetarian restaurant at Basement 1 of Funan centre, just beside Watsons. It has a comfortable ambience, attentive staff and nice food.
C has great compliments on their Briyani rice set, and I tried their set accompanied Naan & the flavoured Papadum, best so far tried in S'pore... Good texture & flavoured...
And Best Masala Tea tasted in Spore too (based on my limited tries :P), thick & nice!!!
Will return again to try other dishes. :-)
(Just fyi, Picture of sign is actually of their back-door entrance :P)

Shan Yuan Vegetarian

Visited Boon Keng area and exploring the area, I discovered at least 3 Vegetarian Stalls in & near the Bendemeer market! From MRT Exit B, just at coffeeshop behind the left stretch of shops (facing the market) is a hugh stall of Yuan Xiang Vegetarian (It used to be in the Food centre opposite Bras Basah Complex). Long queue and I ventured into the market to discover a Vegetarian stall that sells Economy rice at only $2.30 for 3 dishes & Shan Yuan Vegetarian which sells a variety of Daily Special such as Mee Rebus, Laksa, Kway Chap as well as Stir-fry Hor-Fun, etc.
Long time didn't had Mee Rebus so I decided to try it.
Well, not bad gravy at $2.50, with a few pieces of slim beancurd and some mock ham pieces. Generally taste reasonable for the price though more beancurd cubes is appreciated to make it more authentic ...

It is located at 29 Bendemeer Road (Bendemeer market), near Exit B of Boon Keng MRT.

Green Vegetarian Kitchen (Koufu, Commonwealth MRT)

Glad to find Green Vegetarian back to Koufu foodcourt near Commonwealth MRT. :-)
Friend who moved there recommended their Hor Fun & Fried Hokkien Mee which have wok-feel. I am glad to find another stall selling nice vegetarian Hokkien mee which is hard to find.
It's a bit wetter version than expected but still good to enjoy the tasty gravy (oh sinful :-P & the taste is better than its presentation ) and the portion is generous enough for 2 small eaters to share...

This stall is located near side entrance of Koufu Foodcourt beside Commonwealth MRT.

Tian Yuan Vegetarian

Delicious fresh handmade Tomato gravy La-mian on their Thursday-Sat menu.
I was skeptical initially when visited the shop to find out that the usual chef-their lady boss was not around but the male boss? who was alone and the chef for the meal recommended their Tomato noodles.
It came out much better than expectation, the noodles well-cooked and the sauce/gravy even much better than the last time taken.
I finished the whole bowl of appetising tomato soup and noodles and the male chef proudly proclaim that many patrons loved the dish and finished the whole bowl of soup just as I did.:-)

This Vegetarian Supply Shop - Tian Yuan is hidden at level 2 (#02-23) of Fortune centre, right on 2nd stretch of shops up from the escalator. It takes abit of effort to look for it but luckily it has a bright sign.
