Tian Yuan Vegetarian

Always liked Tian Yuan's special soup noodles with soup base freshly grinded from ingredients like black bean, mushroom and tomatoes. It has one of best replicate of prawn soup tried due to kelp used. 

Now that it has come out with a formal menu on schedules when are its specialty soup served, can now plan visit easier. 

 Opens daily to 7.30pm but closes early on Sun around 6.30pm.  

 The shop is hidden at back lane besides Herbivores.

 

Yuan Xiang Idealite

Always enjoyed salad at Yuan Xiang Idealite (at Bugis village besides Mcdonald ) as their sauce is excellent.

 Their signature burger sauce is great too! 😊

Was recommended this healthy vege soup ramen which we added another mini ramen.
Those who love healthy food will like this dish.

Yuan Xiang Idealite

Nice value set at $9.90 with drink and salad from Yuan Xiang Idealite at Bugis Village besides Mcdonald.
1st time tried their Bak Kut Tek noodles ~ huge portion with lots of ingredients ~ ✌ worth trying...
Claypot rice ~ yummy stir fry brown rice! put in Claypot. .. marks deducted for not sizzling enough but delicious portion for 2 to share ...
And a must each time of visit is their tempura mushroom that let me not miss them from Taiwan night market stalls anymore because I can always visit them when I have craving for fried mushroom...😄

Tian Yuan Vegetarian

After dining at Thunder Tree, I start to miss the Thunder Tea Soup noodles from Tianyuan and fighting a mild flu... decided to travel there for a nutritional meal.
👍 I must be the few who likes to order Thunder Tea with noodles and had not visited for sometime that the lady boss forgot how it was served with the soup n noodles together in the past. 😅 Feels good after the bowl of Thunder Tea Soup noodles. 😊

Nice Fried Hokkien mee with nice chilli sauce!
And ease to eat Indian food without worries of onion & garlic.
Masala Dosa with fillings of potato....always see this ordered by others and finally tried it. Like it and  Nice sauces they have ! Worth to try!

Idealite

Yes revisited Idealise again as find it a convenient location and reasonable tasted food for gathering . Glad that they have my all time favourite there today ~ fried mushroom! Yummy! Standard remains for today.

Next ordered their Red Curry Ramen which soup base not spicy as expected and Ramen texture like thick meehoon used in laksa. But what won me over is the smooth soft texture of braised beancurd found amongst the ingredients. Would love to order as additional side dish if available. ;--)

Idealite

Revisited Idealite with friends and strongly recommend this 2 dishes that we all put thumbs up ! Fried Udon with spicy good black pepper sauce taste!
The new red curry millet rice on special menu is an interesting bowl per picture.  Good variety of ingredients and has good sauce to mix with.
Love it. Don't mind revisit to try it again. There are actually other interesting rice dishes on their new menu. Hmm...slowly...

Truly Vegetarian

A new Vegetarian stall at Bugis Function level 3 Foodcourt! ~ Truly Vegetarian. 
Was told it is a branch of O'bean and Vegan for this branch.
Taiwanese style of noodles and rice. Curry rice available too...
Just had dinner when visited so decided to pack their Dumplings and spicy tofu.
Nice dumpling shape like Real Food's and oh nice tofu!!!
Just that portion may be small...:-p

Will visit another time to try their main dishes...:-)

Hotcakes

Returned to Hotcakes for their Rojak! Still as nice gravy and appreciate they volunteered to change the peanuts to cashew nuts when I requested peanuts to be excluded.

Hotcakes is located at level 1 of Fortune centre, near the office tower entrance, stretch opposite the Crystal shop, near Tracy Juice, besides the bakery.

Xing Hua Vegetarian Restaurant

Was glad to hear about their Laksa Ngian Toufu back after renovation (Fortune centre branch, level1 near Herbivores) and finally tried and picked my favourite pieces of bean curd and fried dumplings ! Still as nice but I think the gravy in past may be slightly better...:-p
The Stir-fry Hot Fun was nice with wok feel.
They also have the increasing popular Spicy boiled vegetables which I hope to return to try in future...

Saute

Cool, finally visited Saute at Bugis Cube #02-08,  opposite Bugis Junction and tried their Daily Special Brown Rice Set of Sauteed Basil Mushroom (which they used monkey head mushroom ), Curry Rendang Pizza and Pumpkin Tomato Pasta.
Nice mushrooms and well cooked spaghetti and nice crust of pizza.
Overall an enjoyable meal but have to be early or make reservations even in a weekday as the place is limited.
Would love to return to try their mushroom burgers.

Oh, they do serve egg dishes so please clarify with the staff when you order if it can be removed or prepared in vegan version.

Bugis Cube is a building opposite Bugis Junction along the road with traffic towards City hall (not the Bugis Village side) and  Behind the bus-stop where there now hosts several meaty restaurant on first floor.

Hee, this has become my recent favourite hunt to try their variety.

Recently tried their bittergourd brown rice set & Red Yeast noodles. 

Nice brown rice set my friend ordered but I would really like to compliment their Red Yeast Noodles (usually Meesua but I opted for noodles instead). The Red Yeast soup really has a revitalising effect on me as I could feel flowing of blood circulation almost immediate after the meal...And I like the taste compared to other stalls'. Now, I know where to dine whenever feel low energy...

Cool, returned soon to try its dry noodles which is of handmade noodles quality (nice seasoning! smooth!) and enjoyed their own home-made dumplings with good fillings of shredded vegetables.
