Tian Yuan Vegetarian

Always liked Tian Yuan's special soup noodles with soup base freshly grinded from ingredients like black bean, mushroom and tomatoes. It has one of best replicate of prawn soup tried due to kelp used. 

Now that it has come out with a formal menu on schedules when are its specialty soup served, can now plan visit easier. 

 Opens daily to 7.30pm but closes early on Sun around 6.30pm.  

 The shop is hidden at back lane besides Herbivores.

After dining at Thunder Tree, I start to miss the Thunder Tea Soup noodles from Tianyuan and fighting a mild flu... decided to travel there for a nutritional meal.
👍 I must be the few who likes to order Thunder Tea with noodles and had not visited for sometime that the lady boss forgot how it was served with the soup n noodles together in the past. 😅 Feels good after the bowl of Thunder Tea Soup noodles. 😊

红糟面线 or Red Yeast Mee Sua was never my favourite, but was yearning to try something different that fine day and recalled friend recommended this dish so that's the order and Thumbs UP!!!

Simply love their innovation in Soup noodles! 
Portabella Mushroom noodles! 
Cooking handmade noodles in western style mushroom soup (blended mushroom!)  and with ingredients of slices of lotus roots and mushroom, long beans, crispy sprinkles,  etc...

Oh, they also have Green curry noodles on their menu...next round... :-)

ZhaJiangMian! Not an actual replicate of the real but with its unique taste and gravy that smooths the noodles. Nice combination that I feel like having a bowl again while putting up this post. Try it!

Nice Vegetarian Fish Mee Hoon Soup with good grinded ginger juice taste with fried beancurb skin mock fish pieces, ikan bilis and big yam pieces! The strong ginger soup is a Perfect remedy soup for warming one's stomach.

Prawn soup noodles, the best soup base with most resemblance to the actual version and the lady boss is happy to share the secret if you ask her. Replacing with yellow noodles, spaghettis is used to make it a more healthier dish. Should try if you are an vegetarian and misses prawn soup noodles...

New menu of the day tried ~ Herbal Soup Noodles
Good portion of ingredients (as seen from picture) with well cooked soup base that A & I finished the soup base again just like when I sampled their Tomato noodles.
Worth trying again...;P

Delicious fresh handmade Tomato gravy La-mian on their Thursday-Sat menu.
I was skeptical initially when visited the shop to find out that the usual chef-their lady boss was not around but the male boss? who was alone and the chef for the meal recommended their Tomato noodles.
It came out much better than expectation, the noodles well-cooked and the sauce/gravy even much better than the last time taken.
I finished the whole bowl of appetising tomato soup and noodles and the male chef proudly proclaim that many patrons loved the dish and finished the whole bowl of soup just as I did.:-)

Lei Cha noodles was on Tian Yuan's menu and the served version to a patron looked enticing.
Had long heard Lei Cha is nutritious but as it is usually accompanied with rice and peanuts, I wasn't that keen so when I was told Tian Yuan has it with noodles and no peanuts, I did not hestitate to try.
Good choice, as it comes with a mild peppermint which the unique taste may not be acceptable to some was a good remedy soup to aid my recovery from  stomach flu and beginning symptoms of running nose. The noodles, the Lamian this round was well-cooked and smooth that after finishing the bowl of Leicha soup noodles, I found my stomach warmed, my blood circulation improved that after a short rest, I recovered from both flu.
Their Leicha consists of chopped bean cubes, bean curb cubes , preserved carrot bits (Caipu), some unknown vege leaves and black and white sesame seeds. Not elaborate but nice and the derivation to include noodles is a welcome creation for noodles-lover like myself.:-)

It had also recently started selling hot food, making good uses of its supply from the shop.

It has on its menu Lei cha, Pumpkin rice, Buckwheat noodles, Vinegar Trotters, Spaghetti and this Tomato soup noodles which I ordered. 

Own made from fresh tomatoes, the soup was thick like spaghetti sauce just that it is more soupy.

Very appetising with much ingredients also very tomato spaghetti-alike. There are those tiny fresh mushrooms, cubes of potato and bean curd and some pea-beans. And my favourite Parsley leaves added fragrance to the dish. If the La-mian type of noodles was cooked longer to make it softer it could had added more points, but overall a nice dish to try for tomato lovers.:-)
