Was dinner time at aljunied mrt area, so decided to have dinner there.
Heard about the new opening of vege stall, Lovingwell Vegetarian, at the new corner coffee-shop near the main road and decided to visit it.
They sell the usual stirfry dishes like Hor Fun, Mee Goreng etc as well as rice sets.
The vendor recommended their vegetarian fish soup meehoon which I readily agreed to try.
It took a while to be served as they took time to cook every order with love...
My friends complimented their stir-fry Mixed Vege Meehoon were cooked with standard and with the wok-hei taste. My soup mee hoon too was the non-milk & wok stir-fry type. The big pieces of beancurd skin fish were well-fried with good portion of tomato slices and vegetables.
Overall, a good bowl of vegetarian fish soup too!
The stall is located at Lor 25A Geylang, corner coffee-shop near main road, 1st stretch of shop-houses from Aljunied MRT.

Miao Yin Vegetarian
Sad ! Ceased Operation...
A visit to Bugis on the lunar 1st of the month, one of the Vegetarian days for most people who make it a point to go vegetarian on the New Moon Day.
It is generally long queue at most vegetarian stalls on that day and Miao Yin is no exception.
The best and quickest dish to order on such busy days other than the economical rices would be Hor Fun.
It is a good choice made as their Hor Fun is instantly prepared upon ordering, hence is hot when served unlike some stalls which had prepared in advance and just pour the gravy over to serve to customers on such busy days.
In addition, we were impressed by the generosity of the ingredients, vast quantity of caixin, cabbage, carrot and mushroom slices and at least 2 types of mock meat that i recall.
Look and taste equally appetising! We were certainly impressed that Quality and Quantity is there on that day which we had already mentally prepared a drop in our requirements on the busy days. :-)
Address: Blk 1, Rocher Rd, #01-506 Kopitiam (Rocher centre corner coffeeshop, 2 doors away from the vegetarian cake house, opp Bugis OG, near the famous Simaru Guan Yin Temple)
