 Cool! Thunder Tree has expanded from a stall to cafe on Smith street..

Yes! the popular Thunder Tree cafe at Chinatown Smith street opposite Ciyuan Xuan Vegetarian at shop house along Food street.
Ordered their Claypot Yong Tau Foo with rice and Claypot Meicai mushroom rice today.
The Meicai dish is fantastic to go with the brown rice and it is good for 1.5-2 bowls of rice.
Yong Tau Foo with soup gravy is nice too but the rice tastes better if complement with the Meicai gravy.
If possible, good to order both dishes together to complement each other if not dining alone...😉

Mei Jing Vegetarian Food

Bliss is being able to have the delicious braised bean curd knots with their fried meehoon.
😄 really love their braised dishes especially this braised knots and their fried cauliflowers!!!😉

Mei Jing Vegetarian stall #01-76, is located at the Beo Crescent market's food centre just in-front of Blk 40 Havelock Road, 2 streets away from Tiong Bahru Plaza. It opens early around 7am to 2.30pm daily and rests on Sunday.

Joo Hiang Vegetarian (Aperia)

Reasonable taste Bak Kut Teh Soup Kway Teow at reasonable price of $4.50 tried at new vegetarian stall of Aperia Lavender food court level 2.
Opens daily to 7.50pm last order except Sun closes at 3pm.

龙门齋 Dragon Gate Vegetarian

Have always liked Sliced Fish Meehoon soup at Dragon Gate Vegetarian at Chinatown.
Today especially request for slim meehoon and non milk clear soup version.
Fantastic order made that I finished all the soup.
For those who like those vegetarian fish of beancurd skin texture and yam pieces and plum usually used in teochew dishes. MUST TRY!!!😊

Friend also in praise of their Stir-fry Hor Fun and they serve free soup well cooked of good ingredients!!!😁 Hope they will retain this goodwill! 😊

一心素食 Yi Xin Vegetarian, Chinatown

Looking for plainer food like porridge and decided to try Yixin as recall they do serve porridge.

Glad to find they have brown rice porridge and though wanted something plainer I could not resist ordering their dishes of braised bean curd and fried vegetables ! Nice dishes chosen !!! Tasty well cooked brown rice porridge 😀

Located at a coffee-shop at 39 Temple Street, 一心素食 is just near centre of street opp Lucky Chinatown. Opening hours: 8am to 10pm Daily.
