New Discovery!!! There is actually a cafeteria or rather a traditional food court at Basement 1 of Singtel Comcentre at Somerset.
No name (just known as stall m) but easily located when you visit the cafeteria, entering from door leading to car-park.
This stall sells mainly rice/fried mee hoon/noodles with dishes with also menu of day like spaghetti & vegetarian chicken rice. In comparison to other food courts in Orchard area, the food at the cafeteria is generally cheaper (3 vege dishes with brown rice at around S$3)and is always crowded.
Was surprised that their vegetarian chicken rice cost only $2.20 with value for money portion of fried drumstick (smooth beancurb skin coated with a layer of flour) and bean sprouts. The rice was fragrant and tasted very much like the real version except that it was abit dry and the chilli was abit too sour for my taste. Considering the price, it is definitely value for money....
