Long long time since to Rice House, they have slight improvement in technology instead of traditional cashier system, but most importantly, variety of dishes increased too.Wanting to have something hot, decided to try their Herbal Monkey-head Mushroom Vermicelli (Mee sua). The soup tasted much like the Vegetarian Pork Ribs soup, the monkey-head mushroom was well-marinated and tasted close to the texture I was looking for, pity only a few small pieces. Other ingredients included Taupok, button mushroom & wolfberries. Overall, a nice dish on a rainy day.
They are located at Blk 129 Geylang East ave 1, beside Foo Hai Chan Monastery & Opposite Sims Ville Condo. May alight at 2nd bus stop from Aljunied MRT & walk further up & turn left to Monastery direction.
