Keat Lim Vegetarian Food

Ventured to Whampoa Food centre (Blk91? nearer to market), and discovered there are 2 Vegetarian stalls, both popular with long queues on non popular Vegetarian days (Lunar 1st & 15th day of month). Good signs of popularity of Vegetarian amongst the people. :-)
Decided to try Keat Lim Vegetarian, which serves standard fried Mee hoon/Noodles dishes and a number of Delicious looking vegetable dishes and fried stuff. Nice noodles, especially with good choice of vegetables and braised mushrooms and well-fried Wuxiang roll. :-)

Thank you for your Blog. It is most informative and useful. Can you recommend me a few places where I can get tasty Vegetarian Dumplings (Bak Chang or Zong Zi)for a student event to celebrate Duan Wu Jie? I used to order from Happy Realm @ Pearl Centre but they have since closed down. I need to source from a restaurant that is either Halal or well regarded as a strict Buddhist eatery so that they can be offered to Muslim friends.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for finding the blog useful: -)
I think you can try the Rice Dumplings at Yixin Vegetarian at Chinatown , 39 Temple street opp Lucky Chinatown, and along same stretch as the poplular dessert shop.
I like their Brown Rice Dumpling which has to order real in advance.

Oh I just visited Tian Yuan which is located at level 2 (#02-23) of Fortune centre, right on 2nd stretch of shops up from the escalator. It takes a bit of effort to look for it but luckily it has a bright sign.
They are selling Dumplings already and fragrance of Dumplings is hard to miss once stepped into the shop. They are selling Brown rice dumplings too. You can try there.: -)
