This bowl of soya bean curb only costs less than a dollar, very reasonable in today's inflation market, and a good & chic remedy for a bad throat.
Just like Cong Cong Vegn, this Long Ji Soya Bean drink stall at Tiong Bahru Market also
has a competitor who always has long queues. Is it fengshui? Before it moved into the new renovated market food centre, in my fading memory, it used to enjoy good business as its competitor now located at same row. Curious, I tried once to buy from its competitor when queue is not long and also at this stall. I think Long Ji serves as smooth & delicate soya bean curb if not better. I could understand for Cong Cong which its style of cooking is different from its competitor but for the soya bean drink stalls, hmm, I really don't know why???:P
