慈缘轩 (Ci Yan Xuan) Chinatown

Visited Ci Yan Xuan and noticed some new dishes that I had never tried before on its Today's Menu ~ Claypot Noodles & Steam Tonic Soup.
There are 5 types of Tonic soup to choose from at $6.80 each. I believe they will be of quality ingredients for the price. However, craving for soup noodles, I decided to try their Claypot noodles.

Though it came in a small pot than expected, it was quite filling. It was served with Yi-mee and usual vegetables as per normal Tze Char stall and tasted as authentic. I like their gravy that I ended up almost finishing the whole pot of gravy as well. :P Having Hot steaming noodles in an air-conditioned environment is really an enjoyable experience.:-) The boss said they will be adding more dishes such as Claypot Beancurd and Fried noodles in the evening menu too.

And on enquiry on when they are serving the Bibimbup, the boss revealed that they had just ordered vegetarian ingredients to prepare Bibimbup from their Korean supplier. They could only arrive in 1-2 weeks' time, so to call daily then to find out when we could savour that again. Sure looking forward to try it again!
