Great news! Discovered a few more new vegetarian stalls at the newly reopened renovated Chinatown Complex Hawker Centre. And one of it is Lao Di Fang Vegetarian at economical price.
I tried its Black-Pepper Fried Udon ($3.50) & Egg-Plants ($4.80) which I find quite value for money. It is a good alternative if you want to taste the Lao Di Fang's delicacies as they seem to have a variety of them. However, for their famous Spicy noodles, I would still prefer the version at their restaurant at #01-38, Apollo centre.
The stall is located at #02-158. From Escalator facing the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, keep to your left and go straight once you are up the escalator and turn left after the corner hand-made soy-drink stall. You will find it on 1st corner stall on your right.

Hi Sagipan & Henry,
Sorry, I do not have the answers to your questions, best that you made a trip down personally to verify.
But I think generally the price seems to be cheaper than the restaurant's.
Cheers :-)

From the stall, I think the spicy noodles is abt $3.50-$4 while at the restaurant, excluding service charge and any tax, the menu price is $5.50.
Btw, the restaurant at Apollo centre is going to close after 26Oct08 & reopen on 11 Nov08 at
Hotel Royal @ Queens,
