Yuan Wei Quan Vegetarian (YWQ)

Another new menu for the day - Laksa...
Unlike other menu of the day, this new dish costs S$3 instead of S$2.50.
It comes with some mock fish cake slices, straw-mushrooms, tou-pok, bean sprouts and a thick gravy with strong coconut taste. Worth trying....

The food court is located at B1 of HDB Hub. You can either enter thru basement car park entrance or from entrance besides McDonald from Bus interchange. The stall is located at far right end if from entrance besides McDonald.

hi, is this sold everyday? do you know when is the yu bian meehoon (ie,fish slice/fishhead meehoon) sold?

Thank you.

do you have the unit no. or the name of the stall?
Thank you.

The Laksa was tried on Wed.
If I recall correctly, the fish soup likely on tue.
But just dropby any day, as their menu of the day are all of quite reasonable standard. The normal dishes like their fried meehoon is not bad too.
I don't think they stick to a fixed schedule every week so you may like to visit & enquire personally.
No stall name that I could recall,it is at 1 corner of the food court (opp corner Malay stall), will not be difficult to find...

Hi sunny,do you know there's another yummy veg stall hidden in Lor 7 Toa Payoh hawker cum market centre? It's called su shi yuan, owned by a nice couple. Located in the hawker centre, (forgot its unit number) it's between a mee siam and a fresh fruits stall. You can take 238 from Toa Payoh Bus Interchange.

I don't stay at Toa Payoh (I'm actually staying in Serangoon) but I like to go there during the weekend for their food. You may like to give them a try too.

cheers,
Laura Ng

Hi Anonymous,
You mean the potato ring that Laura recommended?
It's at 505A Bishan Street 11 #01-440 Singapore 570505.
Opening hours: 11.30 to 3pm, 5pm to 10pm. Rests on Thurs except if it's the 1st or 15th day of the lunar month
I am not sure if it's served every day, just visit it to try...

It's at HDB block behind CPF & library building, and the shop is near to the multi-storey carpark.

Cheers:-)
